Mountain Dew Baja Blast

No no no no no. I am a die hard Coca-Cola products girl. When faced with the bad news that an establishment only serves Pepsi products, I'm disgusted. I chose this drink at Taco Bell today. The taste is reminiscent of Glade Plug-Ins or furniture polish. Ick. I'll stick with water when faced with this again.

A Paper Life by Tatum O'Neal

I found this on the clearance table at Barnes and Noble and had it for awhile before actually reading it. I thought the title was stupid - I guess I was judging a book by its cover or something. I read this in two days. Sometimes I couldn't put it down, and I stayed up late reading for two nights. It was actually pretty interesting, though she portrays herself as the victim throughout the whole book. As much as I hate to say it, I think I have to read John McEnroe's autobiography now to get the other side of the story.

Sprinkles Cupcake Mix

Christine and I are very jealous of our friend Kasey who is fortunate enough to have gone to the real Sprinkles Bakery in Beverly Hills. I was so happy when I saw these mixes at Williams-Sonoma. For Christine's birthday I bought the dark chocolate and the vanilla (they also make a red velvet flavor.) No word yet on how they actually taste, but knowing we don't have to go to California to get them should make them that much sweeter.

Pixelgirl Shops Sushi Bracelet

I think I had PMS when I bought this. It was such an impulse, but I was so delightedwhen I first saw it. It arrived in a little sushi take out box which was too cute. I love the tiny details and I can even see the artist's fingerprints on the beads. This morning I planned to put it on before I remembered that I was meeting my friend Michel for a sushi dinner, and that would just be embarrassing. What a loser.

Philosophy One Minute Daily Facial

The jury's still out on this one. I love a good scrub, and this said it had salt in it for exfoliation. There's no grit to it at all. It feels oddly like petroleum jelly which is a bit disconcerting. I'll continue to use it unless my skin gets worse.

Philosophy Microdelivery Mini Peel Pads

Yeah, baby. I'm enamored with the idea of Philosophy products, but have been bitterly disappointed so often. These are da bomb. I love astringent and this cleanses like one without feeling so caustic. The skin on my nose is peeling, so it must be working.

Fetzer Merlot

This is the best inexpensive merlot I've ever had. I don't believe I've been drinking the Eagle Peak, but whatever. Mmmm... I'm in trouble.
